Oh yeah I did. I do like it especially for the Optical SteadyShot Active technology (2:15) which helps a lot when walking or running. Also the GPS (3:33) which helps you tag your videos.

Yes, Sony has all the bases covered: the camcorder is Mac-friendly,… and iMovie ‘08 and Final Cut Pro will recognize the camcorder and allow you to choose the clips you if you have it.

DOES IT RECORD IN 1080i OR 1080p ?

  19. Airborn14

    March 16, 2010 at 5:07 pm

1080i and 1080p are both High Definition display formats for HDTVs. 1080i and 1080p signals actually contain the same information. Both 1080i and 1080p represent a 1920×1080 pixel resolution (1,920 pixels across the screen by 1,080 pixels down the screen). The difference between 1080i and 1080p is in the way the signal is sent from a source component or displayed on an HDTV screen. To answer your question it records in 1080i. Thanks for asking.

I just wanna point out this is the video that comes on the camera, it’s not really a review, just a demo to show some of the camera’s features (made by Sony).
