Is There a camcorder out there that has both 24p or better AND records to harddrive.?
I would like to have a camcorder with 24p, that records to a Hard drive recording in High definition. One with a great picture indoor and out.
I don't care about sound and I don't care much about stills.
Most of the camcorders I have seen mix Stone Age with Space Age. I just don't get it! Why would anyone make a unit that uses tape in 2007?

Canon HG10 AVCHD 40GB comes out in October and looks sweet in specs, up to 15hrs at 1080/24p and HDMI output. All for $1300.
I’m not sure what the deal is with "stone age", I don’t really care what the media is, it’s the video I’m after. And if they’d make swappable hard drives in these things for extended shoots then I think most would be in heaven.
