Quality at higher frames per second is superior on cassette.
not to this camera it has 1080p and 24p + cassetes are much harder to put on a computer
it’s a video camera you can’t take videos on?
omg its a camera with a mini sd slot for photos and firewire for video
how is it hard. Firewire and then capture it into almost ANY editing software. Software for editing HD is getting more and more available but still not as easy to find and affordable as SD editing software
Though the LED is cool
can i record in standard definition with this or is it strictly hd?
sony vegas works and i got for free so no problem for me and u can also get adobe for free too but i dont use adobe cause i like sony more
yes u can u can change the formats and the lower the def less memory used but i would suggest using hd thought cause thats the reason why its so expensive
thanks, I was asking because currently my comp doesnt have enough ram to edit HD but i will before 2010. I wanted to make sure if i got this camera now, i would still be able to use it.
you can

@leoisforevercool No
would this camera be a better choice than the Canon Vixia HG20? IS there a quality difference in the video itself?
@RugedChris
This camera is discontinued. Try the HG-21.
cancon hd30
which cam is better then canon HV30?
I’m glad it has tape. Tape beats flash anytime. Flash records on a weird format (arch or so, sry if wrong). Need a very good pc and lots of work to convert. Why do you think most pros use tape? So go tape. Has more pros than flash.
