I got my new camera to use at the rally in DC this Saturday. It is a Sony Handycam DCR SR68. This is some test footage I took while on vacation. I didnt have it set to the highest quality as far as video settings. I am doing another test now and will post it in a few. This was taken at a dam in upstate NY after 3 inches of rain fell the day before. Please let me know what you think.

2 music videos back to back of Coventry Bluecoat School sixth formers graduating Summer 2006. 1) Last Summer - Lostprophets 2) The Last Song - All American Rejects Shot mostly spontaneously/voyeuristically on MiniDV on aSony HandyCam and quickly edited on iMovie in April 2006, with ancient footage from year 11 shot on a basic bog-standard Samsung Hi-8 Camcorder transferred to MiniDV by simply filming a television screen! I originally intended it to be a single music vid, but realised I couldn't effectively get enough of the students into one video, so the footage spilt out into two. Unsurprisingly, "The Last Song" is the most important one, but I think the first holds its own. Not sure how interesting it would be to someone wasn't in the Sixth Form though. Rough around the edges but gets the sentiment across I think... Thanks to all involved, especially those I nicked stills from!
